I also noticed, they showed wolverine as a kid, but they showed him having sharp shiny claws. In the graphic novel of Origins Wolverine has Bone Claws, which later get replaced with Adamantium. Much like the guy Spike in Xmen 3, that shot out of his hand twisted bone fragments, and two got lodged into Wolverine's Chest. Dont get confused with Omega, that died later in the movie, who could protrude spikes throughout his body :)

food is right, wolverine was born with bone claws, their actually a extremely dense bone, and can cut substances as durable as most metals, wood, and some varieties of stone.
Some other things most people don't know about Wolverine is that he was actually born in the late 1800's and his real name isn't actually Logan it's James Howlett he was born in Canada and his parents owned a Plantation. Most people tend to think Victor Creed aka Sabertooth is Wolverine's father but this isn't true at all.
As for this movie the main reason why Hugh Jackman took on the role was to make sure that the true story of Wolverine's Origins was actually depicted in the right way, well not really true since it's Sci-Fi after all.
As for the last 3 X-Men movies they got alot of things wrong, they were 2 hr movies so to tell everything right it would take alot longer. But we should see a great telling of Wolverine's Origins in this movie. I'm definitely gonna pay the money to see it in the movie theaters.
I might tend to seem I know quite a bit because ive read alot of comic books and alot of online facts about almost every mutant in the X-Men world lol.

yeah sabertooth to wolverine is still unknown to the full extent. Depending on what comics you've read, Creed after murdering Wolverines wife, (silver fox) on his birthday made it a point to every year track wolverine down and to make it a point to not kill him to let wolverine know that he can still outbeat him.
The other one is that they meet during the Weapon X program, and Sabertooth is very jealous of Wolverine and finds him a competition.
Another thing is most people don't know that Sabertooth had a child with Mystique. And he grows up to run the anti-mutant organization, but then is assasinated by an alternate universe Mystique.
And in Earth X Series (which blows my mind all the time) Sabertooth is, with Wendigo, and Wolverine and Beast, and there all friends in the Bear Clan.
Then there I believe three different ways Sabertooth dies
1. is Wolverine Decapitating him with the sword that negates healing powers (Had to look that one up, its in Issue #55 of Wolverine, lol)
2. is Black Panther Decapitating him
3. Dies of old age, much like the way Wolverine does in the Origins series

Honestly I think thats what always kept my interest in X-Men and the off series was because of the Unknown relationship between sabertooth and wolverine, and wolverine always running from sabertooth in some sort of fear until he eventually dies from apocolypse or old age depending on which version
