As most of you know this is a free game. But what I just found out last night was that you can actually play it in FPS.
Enable the developer console and type in:
firstperson
asw_hide_marine 1
asw_controls 0
I played it last night and its so far very nice. Nothing like a little easter egg. Thanks valve
