I'm actually looking forward to Black Ops. It's like they took MW2, added dedicated servers to make it playable, and fixed all the broken shit. Since I quit TF2, this will hopefully fill that void.

I've been browsing the Call of Duty wiki (http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Call_of_Duty:_Black_Ops) and figured out what my class setup is going to be like:

M16 (loves me my 3-round burst assault rifles). Will either attach a red dot, or if the iron sights are as usable as they look, maybe the tubes just in case they come in handy.
Lightweight. I'm a speed addict, what can I say. This lets you move faster, and shoot directly after sprinting.
Sleight of Hand. Mostly want this for the faster aim down sights that you get for the Pro version.
Ninja. For a close quarters advantage.
Claymores. I'll plant them randomly for some lulz.
Concussion (stun) grenade. They come in handy for rushes.
Semtex. I like them better than regular nades since they stay put instead of rolling all over the place.

I agree with Allen. The last year I was truly impressed by an FPS was 2007, when TF2 and CoD4 came out. But with where TF2 is going, I don't even like THAT anymore. Lately I've had a reasonably fun time jumping into CoD4 pubs by myself.

I'm looking forward to Black Ops multi because CoD gameplay is tight, and there will be some class variety without all the broken shit from MW2... plus dedicated servers so it will actually be playable.

What I'd really like is an FPS campaign that impresses me again, which I know for sure won't be Black Ops. Last one I played and enjoyed was probably CoD4. And next time a good campaign comes out, it better have co-op, because I'm sick of the lazy attitude developers have towards co-op (aside from Valve since L4D is awesome).

Yeah I've decided to only buy games on steam from now on. It's worth the extra 10 dollars for a digital download. I end up losing/scratching cds. And I don't have to deal with the "people of walmart".

I was thinking of pre-ordering a server for 3 Months. its 68 dollars. And Game-Servers is the only host that does this. However money is tight this month for me I can put in 20 dollars MAX.. Buying to many games, so I really can't contribute, b/c 30 of my dollars go to velocity and our ventrilo. Lol
