I have 3 different tracking devices for my phone right now. Ozzy I would suggest you get one. So far all I've seen with apple is ones that require money unfortunately. I'll look around and maybe I can fine one.

Main reason for these protection applications is if you lose your phone and you track down where it is, but still want to make sure this person doesn't get ahold of whats your phone, you can lock it (but they can simply jailbreak it for example with an iphone, and or run the android recovery linux kernel for android phones) So the best solution is to format your phone, that way its inaccessible. And by doing so you have to find a program that formats the phone but reinstalls the security software so u can still track it. (for me it formats my phone and installs a little installation package on my mem card) I don't believe mobileme by apple does that. Nor do I think it does backups of all your contacts text messages etc to a server. Like the ones I have. But I could be wrong. But I think its something every phone user should have at their disposal when they have a smartphone.
