Reformat help please

So I am trying to reformat my computer.

I put windows cd in my cd drive and reboot my computer but when I try and access the bios menu to change it to boot from disc I cant get into the menu it just restarts my computer every time.

I am thinking it has to do with my keyboard? the lights on my keyboard dont seem to come on until half way through the windows screen that says press delete to access settings. I use a usb keyboard.

any suggestions?

I figured it out... it was my keyboard i had to go buy a 15$ keyboard that wasnt usb.

reformatting now im on my laptop if u need me.

Sometimes in the Bios you can enable usb keys to startup
